Discipline and Punishment - Femdom Story

In his treatise Surveiller et punir a renowned French philosopher Michel Foucault described in great detail the peculiar thoughts of the late 18th century legal reformers. Many of these thinkers proposed the idea of a punitive city.

In punitive city the execution of punishment is not a spectacle, but rather a routine. The execution of punishment becomes a part of everyday life as a constant reminder of the power of the Law. Convicts are not held hidden away in secret, but are made visible to the public. People can see them as the linger in cages or toil away as slaves. Their suffering is a vivid and continuous lecture on the nature of the Law, Crime and Punishment.

The rule of women in New Amazonia rest upon the same idea, which is further refined and perfected by the delicate feminine cruelty. Ignorant outsiders are often horrified by the way men are treated in New Amazonia. Yet, for women who live here, this comes both as natural and necessary.

In order to provide for female well being, countless men were subdued and enslaved. The Amazon Census Bureau, which only counts women and a handful of freemen as human beings, places the percentage of women at 95 % of the total New Amazonia population. These official statistics, which classify male slaves as livestock and chattel, hide the simple fact that there are twenty male slaves for every female citizen. The might and wealth of New Amazonia contains the seed of its potencial demise.

The numerousness of their slaves was always the reason of concern for the female citizens of New Amazonia. They required service, but they also required security. And they were determined to prevent any slave rebellion that could endanger their rule.

To do so, women of the New Amazonia had to go beyond any known concept of slavery and slave holding society. They had to invent – in Foucault’s own terms – a new micro-physics of power that would make it virtually impossible for a slave to act against his mistress’ interests.

This new technology of power combined various techniques of control to produce a unique form of oppression that the world has never seen before. It’s purpose is to break down the male slave and deconstruct his psyche up to the point where he would loose any sense of individuality and purpose, except for the instinct to obey and serve. This way, the male’s destructive potential is ultimately incapacitated.

Slaves are subject to intense process of discipline and conditioning, with pain being the main motivator. Slowly, they begin to realise that pain is inevitable part of their existence. Only through following their slave protocol they can alleviate their suffering.

But even when discipline, protocols and classical conditioning are all extremely effective in securing absolute obedience and devotion from the slaves, it is the omnipresent threat of punishment that closes the circle of slavery management. To differentiate the punitive action from the ordinary – yet somewhat cruel – practice of disciplining their slaves, the women of New Amazonia prescribed particularly intense and educative forms of punishment. And here, the concept of punitive city takes on most powerful form.

While certain slaves might be thrown into the oubliettes deep down beneath the surface, the majority of punishments take place in public. Every day, every hour and every minute there are hundreds of slave being punished. They are whipped in public, exposed in cages, locked in pillories or chained to the floor on a busy street. Some are forced to endure heavy burdens, while others might be used as a living furniture.

These punishments fulfil an important positive function. Slaves can learn of the terrible fate that awaits those who disobey. Women can find comfort in seeing that their government will protect them and will inflict harsh punishments on those who transgress them.

By allowing them to use the condemned for their own purpose and entertainment, female citizens are encouraged to take active participation in the execution of punishments. When punishments are well integrated in the course of daily life, the infliction of pain becomes casual, uneventful. When the convict is restrained, objectified and forced to serve as a living furniture, women need only to sit down and relax to inflict an immense suffering upon him.

The punitive city brings together the suffering slaves and the unconcerned woman who is using them.

She knows she is causing them to suffer. She can hear the suppressed moans beneath her as she rests her body on the sunbed. A sunbed that is supported by two slaves whose bodies are sealed within it’s structure. She can only see their limbs that are protruding out of the bed, allowing them to crawl around on all fours and carry her around like a bizarre palanquin.

They cannot see her. They do not deserve to see her shapely long legs, her tanned body, her elaborate hairstyle. They are lost in darkness. They can feel her weight and hear her voice as she orders them to move to closer to the pool.

The rattling of their chains drowns out their sighs. She wonders how it must be like for them. She doesn’t know why they are punished this way. But she doesn’t care either. They must have been condemned for a reason. They are slaves. They are the condemned. They deserve to suffer. And at the moment, she is doing her part in the ritual of punishment. She is their tormentress. She is the beautiful and terrible incarnation of the Female Law.
